You probably remember it took us a few extra days than planned to post the “take your pick”: R8 or SL video. The main reason being that after filming Amy’s POV R8 bit (this video) it was then too dark to do my Superleggera part. Therefore we had to re-film which took a couple extra days of waiting for some nice weather! All worked out though because we got to film at our friend’s beautiful farm.
So without further ado, here’s the outtakes from filming day 1! Still makes an awesome video :)
Well, now that you’ve “driven” my TT Gallardo, Superleggera, and Amy’s Audi R8 I thought it’d be fun to let you get behind the wheel of the Lamborghini Murcielago as well! The car is much heavier and bulkier to drive than the Gallardo, but still loads of fun. Personally, I’d prefer it if I could only choose one.
Simply Put: The Gallardo is a great daily driver. The Murcielago is a weekend car. You could get in the Gallardo and drive across the country no problem, the Murcielago, well, you might be a bit worn after an hour or two ;)
At the end of the day though, nothing touches my heart like the Murcie. The Lambo doors, V12 roar, and overall presence put it in a league of its own.
Loving the snow up north, but starting to get a bit anxious to be back in Florida!
Rumor has it these guys are ready to wake up from there hibernating!
On that note, someone was recently asking me what I do when I leave my cars for a long period of time. Each cars’ battery is hooked up to one these battery tenders which I highly, highly recommend. Even when I park my car for the night now I found myself plugging it in.
It’s been a long time coming and I do apologize for the wait. For the contest I was initially planning to fly in all 5 winners at the exact same time and film their reactions simultaneously. Well, that’s nearly impossible to coordinate with everyone’s schedules! Then, we decided they’d come in one at a time and I’d do a big compilation of all of the reactions. Well, some still haven’t been able to make it to Florida yet, or I’ve been out of town, etc. Two of the reactions are DONE though! The first of which is Dan!
