You probably remember it took us a few extra days than planned to post the “take your pick”: R8 or SL video. The main reason being that after filming Amy’s POV R8 bit (this video) it was then too dark to do my Superleggera part. Therefore we had to re-film which took a couple extra days of waiting for some nice weather! All worked out though because we got to film at our friend’s beautiful farm.
So without further ado, here’s the outtakes from filming day 1! Still makes an awesome video :)
You probably have seen the video of Amy picking up her Lamborghini Gallardo from her last trip to the states. Although she loves that, her dream car has always been the Audi R8! A week after getting back to the states she tracked down the perfect car and started making plans for a very unique look. We picked the car up from Lamborghini Carolinas and dropped it off the next day at Carbon Wraps in Orlando, FL. Steve put in many 3AM nights over the course of a few weeks to get the car looking like a factory job! Every panel was removed and done completely right – HIGHLY recommend them if you’re thinking of a wrap. Amy couldn’t be happier with how the car came out!

Amy has decided it’s finally time to send her own car for some twin turbo goods! She’s heading back to Australia tomorrow and figured rather than letting ‘Roo (her Gallardo) sit while she’s gone, she’s putting that time to good use! Follow the entire TT build on our Facebook page.
